Is a kiosk safer than a traditional lockbox?

Significantly. Lockboxes are often visible targets for tampering and can be prohibited by body corporates. Kiosks are located in secure, monitored environments and require a code that is provided only after a guest has passed our rigorous vetting process.

Can these kiosks be used for buildings with swipe-card access?

Yes. Our kiosk systems are designed to hold standard keys, fobs, and swipe cards. This makes them the ideal solution for modern apartment complexes that require multiple levels of electronic security to reach the front door.

What happens if a guest loses the key they collected from the kiosk?

If a guest loses their key during their stay, our guest services team is available during our active hours to coordinate a solution. While the kiosk securely houses the keys for the initial check-in, we maintain a secondary emergency protocol for lockouts. We can provide a backup code for a spare key stored in the kiosk, or, if necessary, dispatch a local team member to the property to assist the guest in person. This ensures that a lost key doesn’t result in a stranded guest or a compromised property.

Do guests find the kiosk system difficult to use?

Quite the opposite. Guests are accustomed to automated services. We provide clear, photo-guided instructions in their digital portal, making the collection process as simple as using an ATM. It removes the social pressure of a “meet-and-greet” and allows guests to arrive on their own schedule.
